FREE Event Features Photos with Santa, Therapy Animals, and Festive Fun Inside Mountain Avenue Trolley Barn

The Fort Collins Municipal Railway Society volunteers invite the community to celebrate the season at its annual Jolly Trolley Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 13th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This beloved FREE admission event promises holiday magic for the whole family inside the Mountain Avenue Trolley Barn, located at 1801 W Mountain Ave.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will welcome all aboard historic Car 25––parked inside the barn––for festive photos. While waiting in line to visit with Santa, guests will be greeted by the Larimer Animal People Partnership (LAPP) therapy animal group, whose furry "elves" will bring extra joy to the experience.

The celebration continues outside with Car 21 on display, giving visitors a chance to explore Fort Collins' streetcar heritage up close. Volunteers will serve complimentary hot cocoa, cookies, and popcorn to keep everyone warm and merry.

Holiday shoppers can browse a selection of trolley-themed gifts, including ornaments, toys, stickers, and beloved children's books Birney: The Streetcar and The 12 Little Elves Visit Colorado, plus many other gift items.

This heartwarming community tradition offers families a wonderful opportunity to create new holiday memories while experiencing Fort Collins' historic trolleys.
